What We Grow
Share
At Boulder Flower Farm, we grow a vibrant and ever-evolving mix of flowers from early spring to fall. Whether you purchased a Flower Share or are ordering a bucket of Wedding & Event Flowers, here’s a closer look at some of the varieties we grow.
What flowers bloom in May?
At the end of May, the season begins with over 15 varieties of fragrant Peonies. We grow a range of red, white and pink varieties.

How about June?
Early June is marked by the peak peony harvest with over 10,000 plants being harvested. This is one of our absolute favorite times on the farm. We always let several buds on each plant fully bloom - coloring the fields with beautiful pops of red, pink and white.
The peony harvest typically ends between the 2nd and 3rd week of June, and we transition to harvesting purple and white Scabiosa blooms as well as Iris, Red Hot Poker, Veronica, Liatris, Baby's Breath, Bells of Ireland, Dianthus, Agrostemma, Campanula, Lilies.
